Fly Like a Fairy or Roar Like a Dragon This Summer

If you child likes to flit around like a fairy or pretend to breath fire like a dragon, one of the town’s children’s summer camps might be an ideal place for him or her to help bring their fantasy world to life.

The new summer brochure is out and nearly top on the list is the Fairies and Dragons camp that runs during the mornings from July 16 through 20.

The brochure promises that the camp will allow children to “enter the fantasy world of imagination where fairies fly and unicorns roam. Unleash inner elf as fire-breathing dragons, goblins, and other fantasy creatures are conjured up.”

How will they make this happen? With the use of ordinary, real life crafting including paints, pencils, , stained glass, molding clay to create two- and three-dimensional works of art. And of course don’t forget the story telling.

The deadline to register for the camp is July 9, but it could fill up fast so sooner is always better because first come and first paid is given priority, as are Suffield Residents.
