Federal Drug Charges Filed Against Suffield Man

Numerous kilograms of cocaine and heroin were discovered on his property.

SUFFIELD, CT — A Suffield resident accused by federal agents of playing a considerable role in a cocaine and heroin distribution ring is currently being held without bond, awaiting prosecution in U.S. District Court in Newark, N.J.

Sergio Molina, 42, who owns Molina's Cafe and Molina's Plaza on High Street in Enfield, was arrested Sept. 29, after admitting to agents that two dozen brick-shaped packages found on his Suffield property contained cocaine and heroin, according to an affidavit obtained by the Journal Inquirer.

Molina and a pair of co-defendants met in the garage of Molina's home with an unnamed individual, who had agreed to purchase about 30 kilograms of cocaine and three kilograms of heroin from the men, the affidavit states.
