Sign up for the Parks and Recreation Department's Winter Walkers program today and keep your fitness resolutions for 2019!

Lunchtime Walkers/Runners and Snowshoers Class Begins on Tuesday, January 8th!
Get in shape this winter and keep your Fitness Resolutions this year! Did you know you should be walking 10,000 steps a day? Come out enjoy the brisk winter weather, get motivated and go on a lunch time walk/jog or snowshoe session depending on the weather. All levels and abilities welcome. We will go over warming up, fitness walking/snowshoeing and have a fun time getting you re-energized for the rest of the day. The program will run rain, snow or shine so please bring proper winter gear. Even if you can only walk for a half hour, you are encouraged to join the group. Prizes will be awarded to the most dedicated walkers. This is a great way to meet new walking friends and get healthy in the New Year!
The Suffield Parks and Recreation Department's program runs on Tuesday's January 8, 15, 22, 29, February 5 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. and we will meet at the Suffield Middle School Track. Instructor: Donna Carney-Bastrzycki Registration closes on Monday, January 7 and is a Free program for all ages!
