Four Wildcat teams have already qualified for CIAC tournament play.

SUFFIELD, CT — As the fall sports regular season begins to enter the homestretch, anticipation is building at Suffield High School toward the goal of qualifying for CIAC tournament competition.

Four Wildcat teams have already locked up postseason berths, with another having a chance to still qualify.

Here is a look at the records for Suffield varsity teams through Oct. 15. Teams listed in bold print have already clinched a tournament spot; the number in parentheses signifies the number of regular season games remaining. (NOTE: the CIAC does not post team records for boys cross country, girls cross country or girls swimming on its web site).
