Kent Library Hosts Coding Event For Kids

Holyoke Codes will be at Kent Library on Aug. 23 at 9 A.M. before the library opens to teach kids ages 9-14 about coding.

From The Kent Memorial Library: The Kent Memorial Library is excited to bring Holyoke Codes to teach kids, aged 9 to 14, how to code. The two free programs will take place at the Library, 61 Ffyler Place, at 9:00 a.m. before the library opens.

  • Coding with Scratch – Wednesday, August 23, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Kent Memorial Library, 61 Ffyler Place

Learn to create your own games, animation, and more with Scratch! Scratch is a visual coding
language with great multi-media capabilities and an amazing community! We'll introduce you
and get you started creating sprites, making them move and interact, and sharing your projects
with the world! Please register for the programs at 860-668- 3896 or on the library’s website,
