Kent Memorial Library Has a Job Opening

Just across the Enfield border, the library is hiring for a part-time post.

Weekly hours will vary up to 20 hours per week with no benefits. Some of the job duties for this position include accountability for all library desk operations while on duty as well as answering and redirecting incoming library calls, recruiting and working with volunteer staff, creating and maintaining displays, bulletin boards and signs, shelving books and other duties that may be assigned by the library director or designee. MUST BE AVAILABLE DAYS, EVENINGS AND SATURDAYS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

Requirements: Must possess a high school degree; a college degree is preferred. Excellent customer service skills, flexible schedule, computer skills. Previous library experience using a computerized library circulation system is preferred.
