Learn To Reverse An Opioid Overdose At Free Suffield Training
The Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association will hold a free Narcan training on March 19 at 205 Bridge St.
SUFFIELD, CT — Residents will have a chance later this month to learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid emergency during a free Narcan administration training in town.
The Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association is hosting the session on March 19 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 205 Bridge St. The training is free and open to the public.
Participants will learn how to identify the signs of an opioid poisoning and how to properly administer Narcan nasal spray in an emergency. Organizers say Narcan “leave behind” kits will be distributed at no cost to attendees.

The training is designed to equip community members with the tools and knowledge to potentially save a life in the event of an overdose.
