LETTER: Thanks from the First Selectman-Elect

Good afternoon Suffield! Thank you to all of the candidates who volunteered to serve our town by running for office.

Congratulations to those who won yesterday. I look forward to serving with you. Thank you to those Democrats, Republicans and Unaffiliated voters who voted for me. I am honored by the results and promise to work hard for all of Suffield.

Thank you to my wonderful husband, David, and our children who have been so supportive and patient by allowing me to commit so much time to this campaign. Thank you to the Democratic Town Committee for supporting all of the Democratic candidates.

I am forever grateful for the dedication of the members of my remarkable campaign committee. Each one of them contributed something unique to the team, especially my dear friend and campaign manager, Kim Worthington, who selflessly worked around the clock to ensure our success. We proved what we can achieve through organized leadership, teamwork and hard work. I plan to bring this winning strategy to the Town.

Thank you again to the voters of Suffield who came out in record numbers yesterday to cast their ballot. I look forward to serving you and the entire Town of Suffield!
