Local Teams Struggle in Basketball, Hockey Tournament Action

Tuesday was a brutal evening for north central Connecticut teams in the CIAC state basketball and ice hockey tournaments, as just five of 17 teams from the area emerged victorious.

Suffield was eliminated from the Class M boys basketball tournament, falling to St. Joseph, 59-51..
