Make-A-Wish® Connecticut Hires West Suffield Resident

After an extensive search of impressive candidates, Make-A-Wish® Connecticut is pleased to announce Jake Beneski as their new Wish Journey Coordinator.

Beneski is responsible for coordinating wish journey experiences and events to create meaningful long-term engagement with wish families before, during, and after their wishes.

As a wish alum himself, Beneski brings a very personal perspective to his role. His wish to meet the cast of Suite Life with Zack and Cody was granted in 2008. Jake manages the Wish Alumni Program and creates magical experiences for wish families at the organization’s new Wishing Place.

“Jake is the perfect person to lead our Wish Journey program,” shares Make-A-Wish Director of Outreach Susan Carron. “As a wish alum, he has an exceptional understanding of and empathy for our wish kids and families and is uniquely qualified to relate to them on a personal level. Because of the power his own wish continues to bring him and his family, he is motivated and inspired to bring that joy to our new wish kids and our alumni throughout their wish journeys.”
