WINDSOR LOCKS, CT - A local resident sustained serious injuries after he and another person interrupted a car burglary in progress early Thursday morning. According to police, around 1:11 a.m., two people residing on Dexter Road interrupted three masked individuals breaking into a car on their property. The suspects left behind a Subaru bearing Connecticut registration plate 418ZOP, which was determined to be stolen out of Suffield. The assailants fled in another vehicle which was waiting nearby, police said.
