Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT
- Eastern Connecticut State University recently released the names of three full-time students from Suffield who were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. They are, with majors: Michele D'Agata, Sport & Leisure Management; Amy Javarauckas, Visual Arts; and Alyssa Wessner, Pre-Social Work.
Emerson College, Boston MA

- Shea Mccusker, a resident of West Suffield, has been named to the Emerson College Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. Mccusker is majoring in Marketing Communications. The requirement to make Emerson's Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.
University of Delaware, Newark DE
- Delaney Tierney from Suffield has been named to the University of Delaware's Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.
University of New Haven, West Haven CT

- Four students from Suffield were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. They are Zachary Blatter, Brigette Gunn, Jacob Messenger and Logan O’Brien.
University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI
- The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that 5,500 undergraduates have qualified for the fall 2017 Dean's List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and nations. To be included on the Dean's List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average. The list includes students who have not yet declared their majors as well as those from all of the University's undergraduate academic colleges. Honorees from Suffield are Joseph Barnes, Abby Canning, Delaney Cardaropoli, Connor Donahue, Zachary Guilmette, Roseanne Leach, Olivia Motherway, Alyssa Puia, Melissa Santi and Taylor Schwab.
Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA
- A pair of Suffield residents were among 1,608 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2017 semester: Emma Ryan, a member of the class of 2018 majoring in mechanical engineering, and Taylor Stephen, a member of the class of 2018 majoring in robotics engineering. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
