No Safe Grad Party for Suffield Students
A committee member said only 25 seniors had registered for this year's celebration, prompting its cancellation.
SUFFIELD, CT - Following graduation on June 18, seniors from Suffield High School will be on their own as far as celebrations go, as the annual Safe Graduation party has been canceled.
The Journal Inquirer reported the event was called off due to lack of participation from students, according to a committee volunteer.
Only 25 students had registered for the event, a cruise in Greenwich Harbor. That number is significantly down from the 140 who participated in 2013, the JI said.
