Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta GA

• Keara Frawley of Suffield has earned a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Frawley was among approximately 1,660 undergraduate and graduate students who earned degrees during the summer 2022 semester.

Lasell University, Newton MA

• Gabriel Qua, a Lasell University student from Suffield, was named to the Dean's List for academic performance in the fall 2022 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, Lasell students must complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Worcester MA

• Hannah Washburn of Suffield was recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Springfield College has named eight students from Suffield to the fall 2022 Dean's List. They are Blake Baskin, Remington Ferrari, Olivia Gervais, Hailee Mailloux, Andrew Martin-Ryan, Isabella Plano, Audrey Sevigny and Olivia Sevigny. The criteria for selection to the Dean's List are as follows: The student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework for the term, exclusive of "P" grades. The student must not have any incompletes or missing grades in the designated term. The student must have a minimum semester grade average of 3.500 for the term.

University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT

• Tabitha Hinkle of Suffield is among the 400 undergraduate students who have been named to the University of Saint Joseph Dean's List for the fall 2022 semester. Students who are awarded this academic achievement have earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester, with no grade lower than a "B." Hinkle is majoring in English.

Valdosta State University, Valdosta GA

• Wafaa Razeq of Suffield has earned the Master of Library and Information Science from Valdosta State University. Razeq is among more than 600 students who completed their degree requirements during summer semester 2022.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Stacy Arendt and Amanda Arendt, both of Suffield, have been elected to serve as Resident Representatives for Student Senate for the 2022-2023 academic year. Student Senate is the official voice of full-time students and is comprised of representatives from each class, each of the Colleges, commuter and resident students. Student Senate serves as a liaison between students, faculty, and the administration of the Univeristy and appoints representatives to sit on joint committees of the Faculty Senate in order to encourage cooperation and foster joint decision-making. Student Senate's main goal is to reach out to the undergraduate population and let their comments, concerns, opinions, and voices be heard. Stacy is working toward a BSBA in business, while Amanda is working toward a BA in psychology.
