This is an introduction to cupcake decorating for beginners taught by Sandy Nelson, former award winning Hall of Fame Certified Wilton Method Decorating Instructor. Sandy has taught cake decorating classes for over 30 years. Sandy’s goal is to make your experience with decorating as easy and enjoyable as possible. You will learn how to tint icing, fill a decorating bag, fill a cupcake and pipe a variety of decorations, including the popular 1M Swirl and Drop Flowers. Best of all you will take home your decorated cupcake creations to share with family and friends. Take a break this summer for yourself and learn to make some beautiful and delicious creations. Summer Cupcake Decorating Wednesday Night Fun

Cupcake Decorating Made Easy for Kids (New!)

Your child will learn to decorate like a pro, in this exciting new class geared for beginners who are interested in learning how to decorate beautiful cupcakes.

Once Upon a Cake (for children in July!)

Join us for the sweetest class of the summer! We’ll review the basics of buttercream and piping techniques, and then explore the creative world of fondant. Daily edibles to take home will include cupcakes & cookies. You will learn the secret to creating those “bakery perfect” cupcakes. A final project of a decorated cake, completely designed by YOU will be part of our graduation. Don’t miss out on this class to master new skills!

Registration closes on Monday, July 1 and/or earlier if enrollment reaches maximum capacity. Limited enrollment.

Dates: July 8– July 12

Days: Monday – Friday

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Grades: Entering 3, 4 & 5

Location: Middle School Home Economics Room

Fee: $80.00 (additional materials fee $30.00 paid to instructor)

Note: Additional materials fee includes piping bag & special decorating tips that become property of the child. Children are responsible for bringing their decorating supplies to class each day clean and ready for use.
