Robin Pedersen Roccanti, 57; Suffield Resident, Church Secretary
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 26 with the funeral service scheduled for Wednesday, May 27.

From Carmon Funeral Homes.
Robin Pedersen Roccanti, 57, died unexpectedly yet peacefully at home in Suffield on Thursday, May 21, 2015.
She was loved for more than 35 years by her husband Michael. They shared a too-short lifetime of adventures, laughter and undying love. While those adventures may have mellowed as they aged, they always made time to connect during their weekly date nights and weekend day trips.

She was the best mom to her two girls Jenn and Andrea, and raised them with patience, unconditional love and unwavering support. She taught them to be independent, confident, and above all—there for each other. In retrospect, she’d been preparing them all their lives for this moment.
Robin was also an incredible grandmother and the last 2.5 years she spent with her Cohen were some of the happiest we have seen her. Despite being in constant physical pain, she’d never hesitate to do anything Cohen asked of her—singing the Wheels on the Bus, watching movies together, or crafting (one of Robin’s happiest hobbies).

Robin was loved deeply by her mom Barbara Pedersen and her dad Alvin Pedersen (who predeceased her in 2014), her sisters Roxanne Koperniak and Tracey Ormond, many brothers- and sisters-in-law, a son-in-law, nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. She was also well cared for by her physician, Dr. Ann Parke.
Robin would have been touched by the outpouring of support her family has received in the wake of her death.
We’d love to thank all of her friends and family in person on Tuesday, May 26th from 4 – 8 pm at the Nicholson and Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield. We’ll also be celebrating her life on Wednesday, May 27th at 10 am at West Suffield Congregational Church, 1408 Mountain Rd., West Suffield followed by a burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Suffield.
In lieu of flowers, we know Robin would be grateful for donations made in her honor to West Suffield Congregational Church, where she had proudly served as church secretary. Donations will be used to paint the outside of the church—a project she was looking forward to seeing completed.
