Rose Marie Grue, 81; Suffield Resident Who Enjoyed Cooking, Outings with Friends

Rose Marie (Zangari) Grue, 81, of Suffield, and a former longtime resident of Enfield, passed away at Suffield House on Monday, Oct. 27, 2014.

Rose was born May 4, 1933, in Hartford, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Rose (DeMaio) Zangari.

Rose enjoyed cooking, outings with Bill and visiting family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Olschafskie and her companion, Kevin of Springfield, MA, and Cindy Cruz and her husband, Emilio of East Hartford. Rose is also survived by her longtime devoted companion, Bill Leonard of Southwick, MA; a brother, Angelo Zangari and his wife, Lucy of New Britain; three sisters, Stella Riccio of Newington, Felicia Fortune of Vernon, and Frances Cusenelli of Wethersfield; three grandchildren, Kerry Cassin and her husband Ronnie of Meriden, John Olschafskie Jr. of Springfield, MA and Elena Cruz of Worcester, MA and two great-grandchildren, Reece and Leah Cassin.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Friday, Oct. 31, from 9 to 11 a.m. with a funeral home service beginning at 11 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Burial will follow in Hazardville Cemetery.
