“We understand the meeting time of 6:30 a.m. is extremely inconvenient for anyone wanting to attend, but regretfully find it the only time the current board members could meet between now and the holiday break. In order to have a smooth transition for our district between Dr. Baldwin and the Interim Superintendent, we decided to meet at this early hour of the day to support the continued work of the district.

“The special meeting agenda will only include the one item of “Appointment of Interim Superintendent for the period January 1, 2015 through June 30, 2015,” along with public comment available before and after the agenda item. As always, if a larger venue is needed, we will certainly make that possible. Additionally, at special meetings, boards can only discuss posted agenda items - no other items may be added to the agenda.

“Again, we very much would like to meet at a time more convenient for ourselves and families, staff, and community, but know a seamless transition is the number one consideration. As always, please email or call us with any communications or questions.”
