UPDATE: School Bus, Mail Truck Crash Injures 2 in Suffield

The crash did not involve a Suffield school district bus; no students aboard the bus, according to a report.

Update: 4:30 p.m.

Two drivers were injured when a First County school bus collided with a mail truck on Mountain Road in Suffield around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

There weren’t any children aboard the bus, according to NBC Connecticut.

Mountain Road reportedly is closed between Sheldon Street and South Grand Street while police investigate, according to the NBC report that can be found here.

Police are investigating a school bus accident in Suffield.

The Suffield school superintendent told The Courant Wednesday afternoon that the accident did not involve one of the school district’s buses.
