Seven Injured in Two-Car Collision in Suffield
Three young children were among those who sustained non-life threatening injuries.

SUFFIELD, CT — Seven people were injured, including one seriously, in a two-car collision late Friday morning on Warnertown Road.
Around 11:15 a.m., Suffield police, fire and EMS services responded to the crash scene north of Mountain Road and found two cars containing a total of seven occupants. Using rescue tools, the Suffield Fire Department extricated passengers of one vehicle, which contained a family of five, Capt. Chris McKee said.
Ambulances from Suffield, Granby, Windsor Locks, and Enfield treated and transported all seven involved people, including three children under the age of 10, to local area hospitals. Six of these persons sustained minor non-life threatening injuries, while a 39-year-old male incurred serious injuries, McKee said.

Warnertown Road was closed for approximately two hours as Suffield police conducted an investigation into the collision. The investigation is still ongoing, McKee said.
