State Tournament Play to Open for Suffield
Here is a look at the upcoming matchups for Wildcat soccer, volleyball and field hockey, as well as their state championship game history.
SUFFIELD, CT — Cross country is over, swimming brackets will be announced later this week and football still has three games to go, but four other sports begin their state tournaments over the next three days, with all involving teams from Suffield High School.
Listed in order of better seeds, here is the upcoming tournament schedule for Wildcat teams:
- girls soccer (LL): Amity/Simsbury winner at No. 1 Suffield, Thurs., 11/9, 4 p.m.
- boys soccer (M): Windham Tech/Abbott Tech winner at No. 5 Suffield, Wed., 11/8, 4 p.m.
- field hockey (M): No. 12 Mercy at No. 5 Suffield, Tues., 11/7, 5:30 p.m.
- girls volleyball (M): No. 24 Suffield at No. 9 Lewis Mills, Mon., 11/6, 6 p.m.
