Suffield Academy Football Player Named to Under Armour All-America Team
Christian Wilkins is one of 90 players selected from around the country to receive the honor. He'll play in the All-America game Jan. 2.

Christian Wilkins, a senior football player from Suffield Academy, was presented his honorary game jersey at the American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2015 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game today at Suffield Academy in Suffield, Conn. The event was part of the three-month American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2015 Under Armour All-America Game.
Wilkins is one of 90 players selected to compete in the eighth-annual Under Armour All-America Game presented by American Family Insurance, a nationally televised competition spotlighting the country’s top high school seniors. The 2015 Under Armour All-America Game is slated for Friday, Jan. 2 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., and will be televised live on ESPN2.

“It’s a great opportunity and a great honor,” Wilkins said. “I’ll be looking forward to learning a lot from the other guys and playing with everyone from all over the country. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
The national American Family Insurance Selection Tour recognizes these top players as they follow their dreams on the gridiron and provides opportunities for competition, learning and personal development that will benefit them both on and off the field.

The American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2015 Under Armour All-America Game continues tomorrow, when Daron Payne (Shades Valley High School – Birmingham, Ala.), Paul Lucas (Mountain Pointe High School – Phoenix) and Chris Clark (Avon Old Farms School – Avon, Conn.) will be presented with their honorary Under Armour All-America Game jerseys at their respective schools.
