Suffield Bank Victimized by Robber
Local schools were briefly put into lockdown following the robbery, police said.

SUFFIELD, CT — An armed robbery at the First National Bank of Suffield on Bridge Street briefly caused a lockdown situation at some nearby schools Tuesday, police said.
Very little information is available about the robbery at the bank in Suffield Village.
On Facebook, Suffield police wrote, "We believe that the suspect has fled the area and there is no threat to the public at this time."
