Suffield Driver Injured in Crash That Killed Passenger

One person was killed and two others injured in a crash on I-395 in Norwich Sunday night.

NORWICH, CT — A crash on I-395 in Norwich left one person dead and two others injured late Sunday night, reports WTNH.

Benjamin St. Pierre, 25, of Enfield was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. St. Pierre was a passenger in a car that crashed into a cement support for an overpass after colliding with another car while attempting to change lanes.

Police say the driver, Victoria Berube of Suffield and passenger Eric Lemieux of Enfield, were transported to Backus Hospital with serious injuries. Police say that Berube collided with the rear left quarter of another car, lost control and crossed over into the northbound lane of traffic before colliding with the beam.
