MIDDLETOWN, CT - Several excellent performances were turned in by local high school swimmers at the Class S championship meet Tuesday at Wesleyan University.Suffield placed seventh in team competition of the 30 schools entered.The highest placement for the Wildcats came in the 200 freestyle relay, where the team of Jack Butler, Matthew Winter, Bailey Martin and Adam Hart finished sixth.Seventh-place efforts were posted by Winter (200 freestyle) and Kinser Bonner (100 backstroke). Placing eighth were Bonner (100 butterfly), Winter (100 freestyle) and the 200 medley relay team of Trevor Sharp, Butler, Bonner and Martin.Zach Hess of East Catholic placed in two events: the 100 butterfly (sixth) and the 50 freestyle (seventh).
