Suffield Election 2015 Results: Voting Winding Down

Voting ends at 8 p.m. in Suffield, with the race for first selectman shaping up to be a close contest.

Incumbent First Selectman Edward McAnaney is being challenged by political newcomer Melissa Mack. Among the issues the winner will tackle is rebuilding the town’s beleaguered police department, which is in the midst of an overhaul following the resignations of Police Chief Michael Manzi and Capt. Craig Huntley.

Residents are also being asked to weigh in on 14 proposed amendments to the town charter.
