Incumbent First Selectman Edward McAnaney is being challenged by political newcomer Melissa Mack. Among the issues the winner will tackle is rebuilding the town’s beleaguered police department, which is in the midst of an overhaul following the resignations of Police Chief Michael Manzi and Capt. Craig Huntley.
