Suffield Experiencing Four Partial Road Closures, Power Outages
Three are a result of dangerous power line problems, the other from a motor vehicle accident. BREAKING

SUFFIELD, CT — Thursday has not started out to be a good morning in Suffield, as police report at least four partial road closures and numerous power outages.
- Hill Street is closed between Spruce Street and Halladay Avenue due to a tree leaning on wires over the road.
- North Grand Street is closed as of 8:10 a.m. due to a motor vehicle accident. Police advise motorists to seek alternate routes.
- Remington Street is closed in the area of Mountain Road due to a tree down in the high voltage wires.
- Mountain Road is closed between Phelps and the Stones, due to a tree in wires.
- At 9:30 a.m., Eversource reported 389 customers in Suffield were without power, or 6 percent.
