UPDATE: West Suffield Man Burned When Car Bursts into Flames
The Woods Hollow Road resident was working on the car inside his garage when the fire broke out Thursday afternoon.

Updated: 7 a.m. May 22:
A West Suffield homeowner suffered burns when the car he was working on burst into flames, damaging his Woods Hollow Drive home.
Suffield Fire Marshal Mike Thibedeau told NBC Connecticut said the car fire began when the resident at 64 Woods Holllow Drive started the engine around 4 p.m. A neighbor called 911 as the man used a garden hose to try and extinguish the fire.

The family was staying with neighbors as their home suffered smoke and heat damage.
