Suffield Food Store Burglarized

SUFFIELD, CT - Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a burglar who broke into a West Suffield store late Tuesday night.

Around 11:55 p.m., Suffield police responded to Sam’s Food Store on Babbs Road for a burglary. The front door had been broken with a hammer and what appears to be a white male, approximately 5-foot-9, wearing jeans, a gray sweatshirt, and a black beanie style hat, entered the business and stole the cash drawer, police said. 

The suspect then left the store, got in his vehicle which was parked at the north entrance of the plaza, and headed north on Babbs Road, according to police.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen a vehicle parked there just before midnight, or know anything regarding this case, to contact Detective Justin Fuller at (860) 668-3870.
