Suffield Girls Make It to the Final Four
The Wildcats will play in the Class LL soccer semifinals Wednesday.

SUFFIELD, CT — Less than a week ago, the Class LL and L girls soccer tournaments were postponed due to a scheduling error, necessitating some rare Sunday games be played to get things back on track.
Suffield, which had originally been misplaced in the Class L bracket, has thrived as the number two seed in LL, disposing of No. 10 Newington 4-0 in a quarterfinal matchup Sunday at Beneski Field.
The Wildcats advance to the Final Four, and will meet the winner of Monday's Ridgefield/South Windsor match Wednesday, at a location and time to be announced.

The only other Hartford County team to see action Sunday was Farmington, which continued its surprising run through the Class L field with a 2-1 victory at ninth-seeded Sheehan.
The Indians, seeded 17th, will take on No. 5 Masuk in the semifinals Wednesday, also at a location and time to be announced.
