SPRINGFIELD, MA - Brianna Bishop of Suffield, a senior at American International College, was honored with the Northeast-10 Sport Excellence Award for women's basketball. One winner is chosen among seven sports for the winter 2015-2016 season.

Recognition for Bishop continues to roll in following a stellar senior season. To go along with the Sport Excellence nod, she will also be named to the Academic All-Conference team for the second consecutive year.

Majoring in physical therapy, Bishop has a cumulative grade point average of 3.90. She was voted to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District first team back in February.
