The local Suffield grocer is being sold to new owners.
SUFFIELD, CT — A local Suffield grocer is being sold after 20 years as part of the Highland Park Market family chain, according to The Hartford Business Journal. The new owners plan to maintain the store's atmosphere.
The 68 Bridge St. store is being sold to local businessman Ming Chou, who is slated to take over the business Aug. 23 under the new name of Suffield Village Market.
Highland Market is reinvesting and making improvements at the Glastonbury and Manchester locations, which drove the decision to sell the Suffield branch.
