Suffield Gymnastics Academy Students Fare Well at Boston-Area Meet

Teams from the Suffield facility swept the Junior Olympic compulsory divisions.

SUFFIELD, CT — A group of girls from a newly-relocated gymnastics center recently turned in an outstanding performance at the Shine Bright Invitational in Canton, Mass.

The Shine Bright Invitational was a three-day meet with participation from some of the top women’s gymnastics clubs in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Gymnasts perform on all four Olympic events, including vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.

The Level 3, 4, and 5 teams from the Suffield Gymnastics Academy won the team all-around to sweep the Junior Olympic compulsory divisions, including many top finishes in individual events and all-around awards.
