Suffield High School Grapplers Qualify for State Open
The Wildcats had a pair of placewinners at the Class M championships.
GUILFORD, CT — A pair of wrestlers from Suffield High School will be competing in the State Open next weekend, following impressive performances in the Class M championships at Guilford High School.
For the first time, Ellis Tech won the Class M title, compiling 213.5 points to outdistance Foran's 183.5. Guilford was third with 170 points.
The State Open will begin Friday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven.
