Suffield Man Arrested In Gas Station Burglary

A Suffield man was arrested for allegedly burglarizing a South Windsor gas station.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - Police arrested a Suffield man Wednesday for allegedly burglarizing a Route 5 gas station. According to police, Angel Colon, 57, was arrested on a warrant for third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny.

He was held on bond and arraigned Wednesday morning.

The charges stem from an April 2017 burglary of a Route 5 gas station. Police said the suspect had pried open the front door and stolen $36000 in cigarettes.

Investigators determined Colon was involved in the incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
