Suffield Man Charged in Stafford Gun Theft
A gun was stolen as part of a residential burglary, state police said.

STAFFORD, CT — A Suffield man has been charged for a summertime residential burglary in Stafford, state police said.
Jason Rickless, 36, of Main Street, Suffield, was charged with stealing a firearm, fourth-degree larceny and third-degree burglary, according to an arrest warrant.
According to an arrest warrant, a couple on Hampden Road in Stafford reported a home burglary on July 25, according to an arrest warrant. A back basement window had been removed, according to an arrest warrant.

Among the items missing from the home were a 46-inch TV and a .22-cal. pistol, state police said. The gun was described by the homeowner as "weathered but functional."
