
Anna B. Gilbert, 101, of Suffield, beloved wife of the late Herbert T. Gilbert passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018.
Born May 1, 1916 in Louisville, KY daughter of the late Julius and Lillian (McHugh) Buch, she had lived in Suffield for the past 60 years. Anna was a seamstress and a home maker, she enjoyed watching soap opera’s and traveling to Mystic and was very active at Calvary Church.
She is survived by her six children, David Gilbert and his wife Sandy of MN, Dennis Gilbert and his wife Patty of Springfield, MA, Lynn Perry of Enfield, Wendy Morneau and her husband Al of Windsor Locks, Mark Gilbert of Springfield, MA, Jeffery Gilbert and his wife Helen of Windsor Locks; six grandchildren, Rachel Simons and her husband Hopeton, Carrie Knight and her husband Damon, Shahied Al-Amine, Jeremy Washburn and his wife Dawn, Courtney Williams and her husband Jim, Jeffrey Gilbert and his wife Michelle, Alan Beauregard, Dan and Kasia Morneau, Mike and Heidi Morneau; five great grandchildren, Julian, Avery, Lincoln, Tristan and Jonathan. She was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Bauer.

Her family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Parkway Pavilion, especially Natalie, Becky, Sue and Sandra for the quality care given to Anna during her stay.
Her family will receive friends Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
