Barry was also a talented woodworker and built many things for his family over the years. After moving to their new home in Suffield, Barry installed the hardwood floors and completed the stonework around the fireplace. An amazing cook, Barry always looked forward to trying new recipes and hosting his annual New Year’s Eve party. His outgoing personality and warm welcoming disposition led many to refer to him as the “Mayor of the Neighborhood.”

Most of all, Barry will be remembered for his dedication to his family. He took martial arts classes with his daughter and son and was active in his son’s hockey program, the Enfield Eagles.
