
Christine G. Sych, 80, of Suffield, beloved wife of the late Stefan Sych passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born January 27, 1936 in Laskowa, Poland daughter of the late Stanislaw and Zofia (Rolka) Gaim she grew up in Poland and was a teacher for a few years before moving to Suffield in 1960. Before retiring in 1998 she had worked for Dobbs International for over 20 years. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Church, Suffield. Christine always kept strong ties to her Polish heritage. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, traveling and playing Bingo, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Richard Sych and his wife Lori of Suffield; two daughters, Christine Paro and her husband Kevin of Broad Brook, Susan Sych and her fiancé Michael Andresen of Enfield; a brother, Tadeusz Gaim and his family of Poland; a sister, Halina Stryjak and her family of Poland; six grandchildren, Adam Ogram, Kaitlin Sych, Melissa Sych, Anthony Ruggiero, Stefan Ruggiero, Ava Ruggiero; and many nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends Monday, March 21, 2016 from 5-8 PM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield. Family and friends may gather Tuesday, March 22, 2016, 9:00 AM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Suffield. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Suffield.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joseph Church, 140 South Main St., Suffield, CT 06078.
