Suffield Obituary: Derek Bagge, 39

Condolences to his family and friends.

Derek Bagge passed away in his sleep on Tuesday, April 19, 2016.

He was born in Springfield Massachusetts on August 29, 1976 and lived in New Hampshire for the first few years of his life. He moved to Suffield in 1980 and was educated in the Suffield school system, and graduated from Suffield High School in 1994. He played little league baseball, soccer, and hockey up through his early teen-age years, and then discovered the guitar. He was quite a musician, and played with several bands over the years, from his high school days through his early thirties. He enjoyed everything from dirt biking to Harleys to snowmobiles, and would top things off with an occasional sky dive. He lived life to the fullest! He worked hard and played hard.

At the age of 19 he started Green Mountain Landscaping in Suffield, a business that he enjoyed for the past 20 years. Always ready to lend a hand to a stranger stuck in a snow bank, or helping out any one of his friends, he was someone who you could count on.
