Suffield Obituary: Freda Misiaszek, 103

Freda ( Krzys ) Misiaszek, at age of 103, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Eagle Point, of the Suffield House. She was the daughter of the late John and Katherine Krzys, and wife of the late Theodore “Ted“ J. Misiaszek, who died in 2006.

A life time resident of Enfield, and a graduate of Enfield High School, Class of 1932, Freda was employed for 27 years with Bigelow Sanford Co. in the Accounting and Personnel (Human Resources) Department as a Receptionist and a Health Insurance Claims Coordinator. She retired after the company moved down South. She enjoyed family get-togethers, baking, knitting, the beach, and watching her favorite TV program “Wheel of Fortune."

Freda was predeceased by her sisters Frances and Eleanor Krzys,and brothers John, Joseph, and Stanley Krzys. Freda leaves her loving daughter Noreen and son-in- law Anthony Bednarczyk of Chatham, MA.

Her daughter and son-in-law wish to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Eagle Point for their compassion and care.

Visiting hours will be held at the Browne Memorial Funeral Home, 43 Shaker Road in Enfield from 10 am to 11 am on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 with a service to follow at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
