
Lorraine (Kulas) Rapacki, 85, of Suffield, wife of the late Fracis D. Rapacki, died October 9, 2015 in Suffield.
Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Bruno and Jeanette (Grzelak) Kulas and lived in Suffield all her life. She was a Suffield High School graduate class of 1949, and attended Hillyer College in Hartford, and Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield.
Lorraine was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Suffield. She was employed at Combustion Engineering retiring in 1985. She was a member and treasurer of Suffield Veterans Memorial Committee and active member of the Suffield Polish Heritage Group, Connecticut Genealogy Society, Polish Genealogical Society, and the Northeast, New Britain, CT. She was well versed with the computer and she helped many organizations with computerized records. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing clothing, and making crafts. She also enjoyed playing golf and artistic dance roller-skating.
She is survived by her three children, Ronald F. Rapacki of Ellington, James P. Rapacki and his wife Tricia of Enfield, Sarajane R. Adams and her husband Art, of Granville, MA; five grandchildren, Christopher P. Rapacki and his wife Allyson, Erin B. Rapacki, Kathryn Rapacki, Sydney J. Adams, Hillary L. Adams; and great-grandson Sebastian Rapacki; two brothers, Peter J. Kulas and wife Frances of Suffield, Paul A. Kulas and wife Jean of Suffield.
The Funeral Services will be at The Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, October 17 at 10AM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, October 16, from 4-7PM and on Saturday from 9-10AM prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
