Suffield Obituary: Marjorie Scheller, 89

Marjorie Althea Scheller, 89, of Suffield, beloved wife of the late A. Warren Scheller passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Suffield by the River, Suffield.

Born March 24, 1929 in Springfield, MA daughter of the late Earle and Vivian (Hunt) Howlett. Althea lived most of her life in Watchung, NJ before moving to Suffield a couple of years ago. She attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ, she worked many years for AT&T before retiring. Althea was a gifted artist.

She is survived by a sister, Barbara Angevine and her husband, William of Laconia, NH; a nephew, John Whitney, III and his wife, Nancy of Suffield. She was predeceased by a sister, Rosella Whitney.

Her family would like to thank all the staff at Suffield by the River for their loving care given to Althea the last couple of years.

Her family will receive friends Friday, April 6, 2018 from 10-11 AM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield followed by services at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Hampden, MA.
