Paul E. Raynes, 84, formerly of Suffield, beloved husband of Carolyn (Stavola) Raynes passed away Monday, May 23, 2016.
Born January 11, 1932 in Bath, ME son of the late Andrew and Dorothy (Potter) Raynes. Paul proudly served his country serving with the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He had worked many years for Red Star Express Trucking Co., after retiring he worked part time for Gavlak Enterprises. Paul was a member of the Teamsters 671, he enjoyed reading, camping and hiking.
Besides Carolyn, his wife of 58 years, he is survived by his three children, Gary, Linda and Gregory; a brother, Andrew Raynes and his wife Lois; two sisters, Ruth Raynes and Phyllis Frye. He was predeceased by two sons, Jeffrey and Glenn.

His family will receive friends Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 4-7 PM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield. Private burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
