
Raymond J. Pepin, 87, of Windsor Locks loving husband of the late Eunice (Collar) Pepin passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital.
Ray was born March 2, 1928, in Hartford, the son of the late Albert and Annette (Poulin) Pepin. He retired from Sealtest Foods in West Hartford and from the Simsbury Board of Ed. Ray was a faithful member of the Congregational Church of Windsor Locks. He was an avid fan of UConn basketball and was very dedicated to youth sports in Windsor Locks. Ray enjoyed volunteering alongside his late wife, Eunice at Helping Hands.
He is survived by five children, Doreen Jankowski and her husband, Alan of South Windsor, Renee Holtz and her husband, Robert of Enfield, Ron Pepin and his wife, Maureen of West Hartford, Lori Brousseau and her husband, Michael of Enfield and Michelle Walsh and her husband, Bill of Granby; his daughter-in-law, Joan Pepin of South Windsor; a brother, Joseph Pepin of Windsor; three sisters, Theresa Dakin of Vernon, Rita Bogli of New Britain and Rita Della Rocco and her husband, Richard of Windsor; 17 grandchildren, Kristen Pepin, Kevin Pepin and his wife, Erin, Mark Pepin and his wife, Michele, Ryan Pepin and his fiancé, Casey, Alan and Jeffrey Jankowski, Alicia Beythan and her husband, Jon, Christopher Holtz, Maura Discenza and her husband, Brian, Colin, Brian and Bridget Pepin, Jack and Katie Brousseau, Kelsey, Erin and Steven Walsh; four beloved great grandchildren, Julia, Mae, Connor and Ella and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ray was predeceased by his oldest son, Craig Pepin.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Suffield by the River, especially Trang Pham for the wonderful and compassionate care Ray received.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at 10 am at the Congregational Church of Windsor Locks, 8 Main St., Windsor Locks. (Please meet at the church) Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
