
Robert Emmet Reed, of West Suffield and Lincoln, New Hampshire, 62, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
Robert was born on June 28, 1954 in Bronx, NY. He attended All Hallows High School and received his Bachelors of Arts from St. Francis College, Biddeford, Maine. In 1982 Robert married Kathleen Williams, and together they had 3 sons, Robert Jr., Brendan and Declan.
Robert was the president of Moosehead Harvesting Inc. Bob lived life in a very large way with his wife and boys. He leaves them all with the fondest of memories of times spent together and will be missed by all from the hills of Ireland, the slopes of Loon, the stands of Yankee stadium, the shores of Nantucket, and the pasture and home on the Farm with his ponies.

Bob spent his life not only in the woods but in the hearts of anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. However, his true passion was his family who will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife Kathleen; his sons, Robert Reed, Jr. and his wife Mallory of West Suffield, Brendan Reed and his wife Michele of Aurora, Colorado and Declan Reed of Bozeman, Montana; his mother and her husband Kathleen and Jerry Bogin of Richmond, Virginia and his brother Tom Reed and his wife Dawn of County Clare, Ireland; his grandson, Emmet Reed; and his father-in-law Russell Williams of Bloomfield. Robert is predeceased by his father, Anthony Reed and mother-in-law, Kathleen Williams. Additionally, he leaves behind a wealth of family – in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews who forever will miss his wit and charm.

Calling hours are being held on Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave. Windsor, CT 06095 from 3 – 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial is being held on Monday, April 3rd, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield at 11 am. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery following mass.
