Suffield Obituary: Sally Billings, 86

Sally C. Billings, 86, of Suffield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Manchester Memorial Hospital.

Born in Springfield, MA to the late Albert Joseph and Winifred (Wilson) Dansereau, she was raised in Springfield, lived in East Windsor for some time but had lived most of her life in Suffield. Sally was a member of St. Philip Church in East Windsor and enjoyed playing cards, especially setback, in addition to visiting her second homes in Otis, MA and Parrish Florida. Most important to her was her family, her grandkids and her beloved dog "Sassy". 

Sally is survived by her son Robert Cote and his wife Patricia of Parrish, FL; her daughters Lori Billings and her companion James Costello of East Hartford and Sheryl Kupec and her husband John, III of Enfield; her grandchildren Tracy, Michael, Jacob, John IV, Marion, Christopher and Katherine and great-grandchildren Dakota and Hunter and a special niece and her family, Diane Hill. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law Louise and Michael Rabbett, and her sister Elizabeth Winsor. 

Family and friends may gather at 9 AM Thursday, June 16 at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N, Suffield to follow in procession for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10 AM at St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave Enfield followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Suffield. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 15 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home.
