Suffield Obituary: Therese Browne, 77

Therese Browne, 77, passed quietly to her eternal rest on Sunday June 24, 2018. Therese was predeceased by her husband of 49 years James Browne and her parents Joseph and Olida Boudreau.

She is survived by her son Dennis Browne and his wife Rebecca Browne of Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina, her granddaughter Jessica Middleton and her husband Andrew Middleton of Charleston South Carolina and her great granddaughter Emma Middleton also of Charleston South Carolina. Therese is also survived by her sisters Irene Falkowski of Enfield, Doris Siedlik of Westfield MA, and Rita Therrien of Enfield, along with twelve nieces and nephews.

Therese was a lifelong resident of Enfield and took a lot of pride in her hometown. She made a decision later in her adult life to go back to school and finish up her education. This was followed by a successful career at then Enfield based STR as an Engineer Tech until her retirement.

She had a passion for spending time with old friends as well as making new friends. In her early adult life, summer vacations visiting family in Canada were always a highlight on the yearly calendar.

The family would like to thank St. Francis Residence in Enfield, Suffield by the River and Suffield House in Suffield, as well as Sandpiper Rehab of Mount Pleasant SC for the warmth, compassion, dignity and excellent care you all extended to Therese over these last few years.

A visitation period will be on Saturday June 30, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapel, 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield, at 10:30 a.m., with interment immediately following in St. Bernard Cemetery, Enfield.
