
It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected and sudden death of Tim on Saturday, June 30, 2018, while he was doing what he loved, out on the lake with his good friend Andy.
Tim was born on February 9, 1973 in Hartford, son of Fred Machholz and Barbara (Berube) Machholz. Tim attended school in Bloomfield where he grew up and graduated from Suffield High School with the Class of 1991.
Tim took over his father's landscaping business and loved to create landscape designs. In 2005, he started his own business, Connecticut Dumpsters, which grew over the years. In early 2017, he decided to take a job at Aero Gear in Windsor, where he was employed at the time of his death.

Tim was an avid pool player and was a captain of the APA 9 Ball League, he was a NASCAR fan, and looked forward to his vacations in St. Maarten. Tim loved hanging out on Congamond Lake with his friends and family and taking his Harley Davidson out every chance he got.
Tim leaves behind his loving parents, Frederick Machholz and Barbara (Berube) Machholz of Spring Hill, FL and West Suffield; his sister, Karen M. Aafedt and her husband Dan of Vernon; his brother, Fred Machholz and his spouse Bobbi Jo of Daphne, AL; his significant other Tara Sadoski and her daughters, Victoria and Elizabeth all of Suffield; his three beloved nieces, Taylor, Lindsey, and Haley Machholz; his three beloved nephews, Riley, Clayton, and Dylan Aafedt all of Vernon; four aunts, Emily Lauridsen and her significant other, Jack Alderman of West Suffield, Peg Crowley of Guilford, NH, Judy Machholz of Lexington, KY, and Carol B. Caruso of Windsor; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Barbara and Arthur Berube; his paternal grandparents, Fred and May Machholz; four uncles, Robert Machholz, Paul Crowley, Ernie Caruso, and Albert Lauridsen; a cousin, Joey Caruso.

His family will receive friends on Friday, July 6, 4-8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Burial will be private.
