
Wesley A. Soloshun, 87, of Suffield, beloved husband of the late Charlotte (Milesky) Soloshun passed away at his home Wednesday, November 4, 2015.
Born February 27, 1928 in West Hartford, he was the son of the late Wesley S. and Anna (Pluta) Soloshun. He grew up and lived in Wilson for 57 years before moving to Suffield where he resided for the past 30 years. Wesley was Jr. Class President of Roger Wolcott High School graduating in 1947. Wesley was the owner and operator of Wesley Window Cleaning in Wilson for over 30 years. After he retired he became assistant manager at Bradley Bowl and later became manager at Vernon Lanes. He was a boat owner for over 40 years and he served as past commander of the Windsor Outboard Motor Club and as a member of the State Auxiliary Police Boat Patrol. Besides boating, Wesley had a great love for fishing, bowling and wood carving. He and his wife also enjoyed collecting antiques.
He is survived by a son, Wesley C. Soloshun and his wife Bonnie of West Granby; a sister, Anita Piccirillo of Southwick, MA; two grandsons, Jesse Soloshun and his wife Amanda and Andrew Soloshun; three nephews, Rocky and Michael Piccirillo and James Krajewski and one niece Susan Krajewski ; and dear friends, Aunt Helen Melody of Mammoth, ME and Don and Mary Cavar of Union, CT.

His family will receive friends Monday, November 9, 2015 from 4-7 PM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015, 11 AM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Palisado Cemetery, Windsor.
